- To develop Unicode Collation Algorithm for Myanmar, defining collation elements play as fundamental and important part.This paper describes a proposal for defining collation elements for Myanmar Language encoding as Unicode texts. Having complex language structure, Myanmar Language Collation needs preprocessing of texts like other Asian syllabic scripts. Thus, our proposal also includes linguistic and orthographic factors to be considered for collation. Myanmar Spelling Book Order is used to determine whether our collation weights given can correctly sort input syllable or not.
