- 無線アドホックネットワークが注目を集めている.無線マルチホップ通信の実現手段には,パケット無線形と無線回線接続形があり,種々の情報配信技術が提案され,実装されている.移動端末からなるネットワークの構造を自律分散で如何に把握し,情報を必要なところへ届けるか,どのように必要な情報や機能を見つけるか等,多くの課題があり,極めてチャレンジングな研究領域である.次世代インターネットでの利用,種々の高度アプリケーションの実現へ向けて,無線アドホックネットワークの研究開発の進展が期待される.
- 概要（英）
- Wireless ad hoc networking is getting much attention in wireless communication technologies. Packet radio and wireless circuit connection are used to support wireless multi-hopping, and various information distribution schemes and protocols have been proposed and are partly implemented. There are many challenging research issues, such as how to manage the structure of the network, which may rapidly change by node mobility, how to deliver information to the right destinations, how to discover necessary information and functions. Ad hoc networking can be used in the next generation Internet, and realize various advanced applications. In this context, research progress and technology development are expected.
