- 複数のミラーサーバに対し2つの測定ツールtimeit、wgetを使用してそれぞれ数週間QoSデータの測定を行った。その測定結果をQoS統計として用い、いくつかのサーバ選択アルゴリズムを実ネットワーク上で比較した。QoS統計により少数のサーバをあらかじめ選択し、その中からechopingによるリアルタイムのQoS測定に基づいた最適サーバを選択する方法は、より高い実スループットのサーバを選択する可能性が高いことが分かった。更に、QoS統計の種類による選択アルゴリズムの性能を検討する。
- 概要（英）
- In this report, we measured QoS data during several weeks using timeit and wget for a set of mirror servers. We compared several server selection algorithms and found that performance of server selection can be improved using QoS statistics and real time QoS probing in the Internet. Furthermore, we investigate the performance of server selection algorithm by changing parameters QoS statistics.
