- 我々は、複数のコンピュータがネットワークで接続された分散処理環境とマルチメディアの特徴を活かしたアプリケーションを構築する基盤技術を開発することを目的とし、その応用事例として教育支援システムを開発している。我々が提案するシステムは、教師と生徒の端末がネットワークを介して接続された電子教室において、教師と生徒の各端末上で動作する電子教材がネットワークを通じて連携した動作を行なう事を可能としている。今回、教師と生徒の情報共有のための動作の連動機能と注釈機能を持った試作システムをWWWを利用して開発した。本論文は、試作システムの機能と実現方式、そして簡単な評価結果と今後の課題について述べたものである。
- 概要（英）
- In this paper, we describe the outline of our distributed education support system using WWW, the mechanism to support collaboration among the teacher and students, and the evaluation of the prototype system. In the recent electronic classroom, the teacher can give lessons and students can take them using computers connected through the network. However, the system does not allows them to have effective mutual communication through the network. To support the class in the electronic classroom, we have developed the system using WWW with some useful functions such as sharing teacher's operations and the result on the computer display, and annotating temporarily on the shared display. These functions enables the teacher and students to effectively collaborate with each other.
